The weekend...

This weekend was a busy one with Jason gone to school.
For starts, we had such a horrible wind storm, it knocked our fence down onto my garden and now Savvy refuses to go outside because our neighbors dog can roam into our yard.
Hopefully we can repair it quickly!

Ashley and her friends Jennifer and Alita performed 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" in a school violin concert. They were judged on hand position, ability and performance and received an A! Good job girls!

We got to listen to General Conference (as much as you can listen with 6 kids). McKay passed a math test that put him into an double accelerated math program that gives him high school credits and he got to go to his first Priesthood session. Ashley went to a reptile birthday party and got to ride on a tortoise, hold an iguana and snake (ugh!) Carson and Logan got to go to a birthday party and play until they were sick (literally sick), Logan made a pirate costume for his school pirate party and Savvy, Hailey and I played, worked and played.
I love weekends when we are all together, however busy they may be!

BECKI?! Do you need John to come fix that fence? PUH-LEASE let us know! We'll be up there to help in a heartbeat.

I'm so sorry for the hectic part of your weekend, but AShley attending a reptilian birthday party sounds like the worlds finest dream come true. Such fun!

I'm sorry your fence came down. The wind was terrible. Sounds like a fun and busy weekend. I hope you survived conference today

What a crazy weekend! I didn't know Ashley was playing the violin. That is wonderful! And way to go McKay on math. So smart!

You guys sure do know how to pack a lot into a weekend! Wow McKay didn't know you were such a wiz at math. Awesome.Wasn't it great to go to your first General Priesthood meeting. Hyrum and Grandpa went together. Grandpa liked President Monsons's talk the best and Hyrum liked President Uchtdorf's best. Didn't know Ashley was taking violin lessons. What fun! What a great instrument to learn! That is one you can play in church, too. Bet you loved that reptile party. I think I'd be scared. Hope Carson and Logan are fully recovered from too much birthday party fun. Pretty awesome costume Logan. You look like a pirate from the Pirates of the Caribbean or Black Beard's Ghost.
Too bad about the fence. I guest that will be #1 on Jason's "Honey-Do" list this week.
