Bolder Boulder 10K

This past weekend, Trinette and I had the chance to have some girl time.
We went up to Westminster, ate at Olive Garden,
talked until the wee hours of the night,
read some books and
ran the Bolder Boulder the next day!
It was so much fun, 53,000+ people ran the race.
The weather was fantastic and the course was great!
It was filled with bands playing live music,
including Elvis and lots of belly dancers.
People stood along the course screaming support, blowing bubbles at us, squirting water, handing out doughnuts, cupcakes and beer to runners
(for those who like that sort of thing-
don't worry kids your mom is not one of those!)
The energy was huge and all in all it was a fun experience!
Olive Garden
The starting line... can you see us?
Just kidding we were in the F wave.

People dressed up to run the race!
For the finish you ran into a stadium with
people cheering you on-very Olympic like!
One of the enormous piles of snack bags they handed out, shows you
the crazy amount of people that ran the race!
We had a great time!
Thanks Trinette! And thanks Jason for holding down the
fort while I was away for 24 hours!

I'm glad you had some girl time! It's important to remember to take care of yourself too :) How come you didn't wear a pink tutu?

Who would want to eat doughnuts, cupcakes and Beer while they ran? That first picture makes me a bit claustaphobic. I am sure you had a blast though. How Long was it?

What a small world. Travis was in Boulder at the festival. He had a board review course and spent the week in Westminster. By the way, orthopedic surgery.
