Homemade summer camp...

Seven friends
+
30 children between us
+
Homemade summer camps
=
a
C*R*A*Z*Y
and
F*U*N
time!

My friends and I divide all of our kids into groups,
choose subjects and for a week swap kids and
have our own little homemade summer camps!
This year the subjects were:
cooking, service, water play/summer crafts, art and science.
Here are some pictures from the camp groups I did...

Busy Boys:
homemade marshmallow guns, water balloon fights and the slip n slide=
fun . fun . fun!
Girls zone:
Amazing pedicures with painted toenails,
decorated flip flops, water balloon fights...
-who could ask for more?
Little Tykes:
Ladybugs, ladybugs and more ladybugs!
And the best was the free play , snow cones and the bubble attack!
-oh yeah!
And last but definitely not least was the Skilled Tweens..
more marshmallow guns and some serious car/airplane racing!
-sweeeet!
I also had to add this picture of Logan from 'mad science' camp class,
he loved dressing up and doing experiments!
And what would a week of summer camp craziness
and the ultimate survival of the moms be without a
"we survived summer camp"
dinner at Melinda's home.
(before eating the gourmet meal from Melinda, we visited
Tara who had her baby the last day of summer camp!)
Missing in the picture is Brooke who was in Vegas with her hubby.

Thanks ladies for a great week, the kids had a
BLAST!

You are a survivor!!! Looks like great fun. Are you ready for a nap or maybe a long vacation? Oh darn, not happening. Sorry, your day will come:}

You and your friends are awesome!!! You are so creative and you help all the children to have a wonderful summer so much better than just lying around watching tv and saying "I'm Bored". Love the pics - truly a pic is worth a thousand words. Way to go.
