Today I took the older kids to the Fine Arts Center to get a little culture in their lives. We were able to see the art of 'Fernando Botero' who is a great artist that accentuates his subjects and makes everything look larger than life.
I then took the kids to a park and had them create their own art with paint on canvas.
It was a lot of fun to see what the kids decided to paint!

It was so quiet and peaceful watching the kids take their creations so seriously..

I love it Becki!! You are the mom that is always bringing culture into your kids' lives! I love how you turned and framed that photo of Carson with his painting. And why didn't we see Becki's painting?!?

Wonderful exhibit! I am all for giving children cultural opportunities and exposure to the arts! I also enjoy viewing their artistic creations.
