Welcome school...

The night before school we always have a nice back to school dinner, discuss how to be a successful student, give fathers blessings, eat yummy treats and give big tuck-ins.

The kids wrote down what academic goals they want to accomplish this year.
I'm glad they all want straight A's!

I made for our back to school dinner.

I think Ashley is going to fit the whole thing in her mouth!
Go Ashley!

And of course, the first day of school picture.
McKay-7th grade
Ashley-5th grade
Carson-4th grade
Logan-1st grade
Savannah-preschool with mom
Hailey-preschool with mom
You'd think I'd like having it be a little quieter around here, but I don't...
I miss my babies!
But I know they will have a great school year!

Hope your first week back at school is a terrific one, that you like your teachers, enjoy old friends and make new ones, too. Love the pics - such bright shining faces! Oh, how I loved the first day of school after a long summer. The smell of glue, fresh sharpened pencils, new notebooks and new books and new subjects to conquer. Good Luck on achieving your goals. We know you will do your very, very best and therein lies success. GO FOR IT!

Becki, I hope to get caught up on all my friends blogs soon. But yours is great and gives me good ideas thanks. Hey I have lost Luke a couple times and it is the most heart sickening feeling and enough prayers can not be uttered. I sooo can relate. Love ya!!!

Yours sounds like the perfect, creative, loving family. You must be close to the celestial parents we all should be! Savvy you scared everyone! Kids, do your very best in school. Have no regrets that you didn't give it your all. I can still get mileage out of my straight A's and the valedictorian of my h.s. class! I'm amazed at what all your family does and does so well!
