New York...part three

The food in New York is so delicious (and expensive) We had some of the most divine cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery, we had quite a bit of NY pizza and stopped at the famous hod dog stands that are on every corner! My favorite dining experience was eating dinner on the rooftop
of 230 Fifth restaurant with a perfect view of the Empire State Building.
Needless to say, I am in much need of going back to the gym to work off this New York food,
but it sure was good!

Another fun part of NY was the subway system. Totally confusing for me but a great way to get around town-again I am glad Jason knew his way around!

We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art which was fascinating!
The art and history in that building is truly amazing.

Another amazing museum, The Guggenheim.
The building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and is an architectural landmark!

More beautiful architecture...

New York Stock Exchange
Rockefeller Center

Federal Hall National Memorial

And of course we saw two amazing Broadway shows...
In the Heights was wonderful and had great music.
And Jason keeps saying the only reason I wanted
to see Hamlet was because Jude Law was Hamlet!
It too was a great show!
(And yes it was nice to watch Jude Law for 3 1/2 hours, he did a phenomenal job!)

I loved the Met museum as well. I knew Jason would like the Guggenheim as he has always had a soft spot for Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Glad you got to see a couple of broadway shows - it's all part of the magic of New York night life. Thanks for sharing the pics. And oh, those cupcakes made me drool!
