The Bed Fairy...

My lovely children have a hard time making their beds in the morning, they often look like this:
Which drives me crazy.
I have nagged, I have threatened, I have pleaded and they still look like this.
So in my desperation, I have invented the bed fairy.
The kids came home from school and found this note from the bed fairy...

The bed fairy made their beds to show them how it should look if they want her to leave them a prize. Depending if their bed is made or not, the bed fairy will leave one of these cards.
If it is made, you get a surprise- it can be anything from toys, to money, to staying up late!

Is it no surprise that the next morning I found my daughters bed like this...
and my sons....HALLELUJAH!
Let's cross our fingers that this idea lasts!
I sure love walking into my kids rooms and seeing a nice, crisp bed!

That is hilarious! I hope it lasts for your sake :) I like Ashley's bedspread! So cute!

Aw, super cute. It works in our house when we remember to do it. We call it the neatness fairy. If their rooms are clean they get a little treat on the bed.

Too cute! That little bed fairy might need to make a visit to my house too!

You have such great ideas. With your house going on the market, this will be a HUGE help. While our house was on the market I would ask the kids each morning of their rooms were "show worthy". It took quite a few repeats before they got it down!

Love it!!! Wish I could bribe Tai he is not good at taking the bribes, which is a good thing in other ways.

Savvy told us all about the Bed Fairy when we talked on Sunday and was so excited. Good idea.

I wish I had known about the Bed Fairy when my kids were growing up! Hopefully it will work until it has become a daily habit.(making the bed that is)
