Beautiful WORLD!

Yesterday we got the kids up at 2am to see the Lunar Eclipse.
This is the first time in 372 years that an eclipse coincides
with the winter solstice so we thought it would be fun.
We dragged them out of bed into the freezing cold, they said cool and went right back to bed.
I was exhausted too so my picture isn't the best but it was really neat to see!

Then later in the day I was driving and noticed this beautiful rainbow on the edge of some clouds and had to take a picture! My kids roll their eyes that I have to take so many pictures of beautiful things, I just can't help myself!
This is one of my favorite songs by Louis Armstrong-
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

And of course a light dusting of snow to complete my day of capturing our wonderful world!
