McKay turned 14 this weekend.
It's hard for me to believe that he only has four years until he is off to college!

He wanted to hang with his friends this year so he had a party at an air soft building
and spent 7 hours having a blast shooting each other.
They all left with multiple welts all over their bodies but were proud of their battle wounds!
They came back to our house, ate pizza, watched movies and had cake.

Sunday we thought we would try and make the infamous
'cake pops' that are all the hype these days.
I made one that looked like McKay...it even had his mustache scruff.
Yes, I know- I should keep my day job...no cake boss in the future for me.
I do think his scary bug eyes resemble that of a teenager though-
staring into space when parents try and talk to them, staring at girls as they pass...
you know the teenage lost in space look!

What a great way to spend a birthday! Shooting your friends & loving it. :) Glad he had a great time with his buddies. Emily is right, that cake looks divine! And the McKay cake pop is awesome! Nicely done. When I read that he has mustache scruff I about died! No way! I know he's 14, but I remember that age so well that it's hard to believe he's so old already! Crazy!
Looks like you had a fabulous - all day - all guy type of birthday. Sounds fun and boy does that cake look yummy. Sometimes it is hard to believe you are fourteen already - seems like it was just yesterday that you were a toddler "driving" the Zuka Juice jeep and doing pull ups on exercise bars as little Mac! Crazy how time flies.
