Today for the fun part of the day, the kids chose to go to Chick-Fil-A for dinner. I wasn't going to take pictures but Savannah told me I have to take pictures so daddy can see what we did today.

I got so burned out from painting, cleaning and working I took a time out to make some Easter carrots out of foam and fabric to replace the candy in our Easter jar..see I told you that the Easter candy wouldn't last long!
I have learned leaving candy out and expecting the kids to not touch it is insane.

I think Hailey's got that expression down pretty good lol! Those carrots are soooo cute! Where'd you get the idea?!?! If it was from your own brain, you are a genius!
I was wondering how long the candy would last and told Laura it certainly wouldn't make it to Easter if it was in our house! Love the carrots. A very clever idea.
