You know you have been a blog slacker when you go to make a post and they have changed the settings!
WOW!
I am sitting here at midnight with a quiet home, something that is quite unusual here... I just finished my insane college homework for the week and am SO very tired.
But I miss you!
I miss posting about my families adventures and sharing our lives so I am going to forgo the months of needed make-up sleep and tell you what we have been up to!
My dear husband has been traveling non-stop for the past six months as he builds his new business (check it out here...SO proud of my man!)...
The traveling was tolerable at first but we decided it was not worth it to be apart and there is NO way I can raise 6 kids by myself and remain sane! So we packed our bags, left our home of 15 years and moved to ATLANTA.
Home of beautiful Winter months but lots of humidity and bugs and darn-it... I can't have the same hairstyle anymore! Curls are non existent in Atlanta!
We had been here for one week and were still unpacking bags when our darling little 5 year old had an asthma attack...
We had no idea she had asthma, but we picked the PERFECT time to move to Atlanta...when the pollen has never been this bad in the last 50 years, so bad you could see it on top of the cars!!
We took her to our new business...
and she received the greatest care possible but she was so so sick she had to be transported VIA ambulance to the children's hospital, where she had to stay for four days.
We had to constantly entertain her because when she is well, she NEVER stops moving so to be confined to a bed was making her go crazy!

She was quite entertained by putting stickers on my face and bubbles...
When she started getting better, they let her out to the kids area..
The children's hospital here is so amazing!
Visits from family!
We are so grateful she is ok!
What a way to welcome us to Atlanta!
More to come!

having one of your babies in the hospital is the worst! Glad she is ok. And hopefully you will get a nice rain storm or two to wash away that pollen.
Ahhh so scary!!! So glad she is better:)!!!
So glad to see you back to blogging. I've missed your posts. You really have had a crazy couple months haven't you? Poor Savvy. :( I'm so glad that she is back to her healthy, happy self. Looking forward to seeing you & the family in a couple weeks.
Woo hoo, you are back! So glad Savvy is better...that was scary!
When my family first moved to GA from NJ when I was 10 years old, I was diagnosed with asthma and severe allergies. I had never had a problem before the move. The good thing is by the age of 18 or 19 I had no problems just a few sinus headaches, but nothing a daily claritin doesn't relieve. There is hope! I love your blog and it is SO very random that you all have moved to Atlanta! Welcome!
That was a pretty scary time. Many prayers went heavenward for our sweet Savvy. So grateful for good hospitals, doctors and heavenly answers!
