The weekend...

The weekend was filled with end of season football celebrations...

My bumper being scraped by a sweet old man who said he didn't do it 

and said he couldn't see the

huge dent and white paint all over the side of his car...

Sweet apologizes from a sweet boy...

Picnics planned under the table by Savvy...

(she is so cute, this is her checklist to ensure a deliciously satisfying picnic!)

And of course yummy donuts, this is how Hailey eats everything...

 no donut, only frosting

no oreo cookie, just the cream

and no ice cream, just the cone.

She is hilarious.

Holidays are just around the corner, I am feeling a little hyper ventilation coming on!

What a weekend we had!!
Of course, football...
and

 Jason and Hailey went on a daddy daughter date to Hailey's preschool,

she had to get all dolled up for her daddy. 

It was so precious!!

They carved pumpkins at the party...

Of course, Hailey had to name her pumpkin, 'Pumpkin with eyes'.,

They had a great time together, it's so sweet to see my girls so in love with their daddy!

 

We also had some notty moments...

Hailey and Savvy took permanent marker and decided to decorate their faces.

Hailey also decided getting peanut butter out with her hands was much more fun than using a spoon...

We wanted to carve our pumpkins a week early so we could enjoy them!

McKay FINALLY decided he would participate when he found out there was

 prizes to be awarded afterwards...

Jason and I went to a UCCS business competition dinner.
Entrepreneurs from all over the country entered
 a contest in hopes of winning the top prize, which is a lot of money to
further their business idea.
It was amazing!
Amazing people, amazing ideas and Rulon Gardner was the keynote speaker.
His story is also amazing...

Sunday we went on a picnic by a duck pond.

It was so wonderful and such a beautiful day!

And now, my dishwasher broke, my kids are getting sick, I have tons of homework and tomorrow is MONDAY.

Why do weekends have to go so fast???

The weekend...

This weekend we got a new fridge.

My kids love when we get new appliances, they make sure to 

tell me to keep the box so they can build their own little house...

McKay and I were able to run in a race to benefit the Half the Sky Foundation. It was so neat to see the community support Dr. Constantinides who lost his wife and children in a flash flood in Wyoming. Of course McKay was too cool to let me take a picture of him.

It was soooo hot that morning!

The weekend-

This weekend our friends the Franz family invited us to their annual 'Tough Mudder' contest.
Tough Mudder is a race that has multiple obstacle courses with running in between.
They have a lot of land so it was perfect for it!

The beginning was a mud slide which no one would slide on but ran down-

McKay, the biggest kid there, got stuck in the tunnel, it was so funny!

One of the stations was a cereal station, they had to eat a FULL bowl of sugar cereal.

Since I never buy sugar cereal, they were in heaven and it was so 

easy to gobble it up!

The final obstacle was the zip line-

McKay and Carson got to the zip line at the exact same time and fought for the gold-

Well done grasshoppers...

Saturday I went out with my Vegas friends to the Ritz, they have the best food and
even had some dancing! We laughed so hard- for a bunch of moms we had some
pretty awesome dance moves!

And to top off our great weekend, our little girls left our hose on full blast for about 12 hours.
ouch, ouch, ouch..
here is our utilty bill, which is about three times more than it usually is.
arghhh
