I have to share these pictures with you because:
1- it was our first Christmas together
2- it was our first (pretty pathetically decorated) Christmas tree
and
3- it was our first argument we had over hanging the lights.

All I can say is whoever invented the Christmas tree with pre-assembled lights has saved many marriages!

Love it! Hate lights! I put the lights on our tree. :( Doug just knows that if he doesn't do it "right" I'll get mad. :) They really are very frustrating! I decided this year to put them on the day before I wanted to decorate so that I'd be in a good mood :)

This is Vickie Bona (I used to live next door to you on Lincoln Drive), I happened onto you blog by accident. It has been so much fun reading about you and your darling family (your kids are all so cute). I still keep in touch with your adorable Mom and treasure her friendship so much. You are so right about pre-lit trees being life savers! (and marriage savers). Tree decorating when we were first married was very stressful. Sure was glad when my daughters took over the whole thing! Won't be long until you can turn that duty over to Ashley or Mcay or both.
