Our weekend getaway!

Jason had to go to New Mexico to do some work this past weekend so I decided to tag along for a little weekend getaway!
My amazing mother in law came to watch our kids, we are so thankful for her!
Here is the view from one of our hotel rooms-
flowing water, beautiful trees and birds chirping made it an amazing setting!

We visited Kit Carson's original home which was neat...

We listened to a lot of live music, danced a little and watched some pretty interesting dancers bust some serious moves!

New Mexico is huge for their art. We came across this beautiful wind chime garden, there was beautiful music playing as you walked through it. It made me want to get a blanket, snuggle up and go to sleep it was so relaxing there!

Some little kids came up and gave Jason this leaf and told him not to lose it-it was pretty cute.

This piece of art caught my eye because it reminded me of my boys relaxing in the summer time.

We ate at some delicious restaurants and probably gained a few pounds!

It was a magical weekend, it is nice to get time together without the hustle and bustle of home!
