Our fun filled weekend...

This weekend we went to a really cool downtown exhibit that had a bunch of arts, crafts, inventions and businesses to look at.
Here the kids got to see how a home could run on solar energy...

They got to see and make their own solar oven.
They saw a robot that could play soccer with you...
They got to see the great sidewalk chalk artists..
and make their own creations!
They got to blow square and triangle bubbles...
This was my favorite...
They got to make paper out of elephant poop...
The only reason Ashley would touch this poop was because it was clean, sanitized and free of smell.
They got to see a dissected shark and touch it.
The smell here was pretty bad but it was sure cool to see...

And they got to make bugs out of food...
It was a lot of fun for the kids to see all of the exhibits, there were so many more we just didn't have time to visit them all.

Another cool thing about this weekend, was my boy with all of this hair...

Now only has this much hair!
(I didn't even ask him to do it, it was all him!)
Isn't he handsome?

What a great weekend! Those exhibits are cool. My jaw just dropped at McKay's hair. He was so stubborn about me only cutting a tiny bit off this summer, just to do this?! ;) Boys! I do really like it a lot! I can't remember the last time I saw his with hair that short. Very handsome McKay! Who is the girl? ;)

I love McKay's hair! Trent's hair was so long like that before and after we cut it I was so amazed with how handsome he looked! Like his eyebrows really existed and they added so much to his new maturing look!

Becki: McKay looks marvelous and I like the look of dedication to good things. I know you're busy and had my share of business in life, but aren't you grateful to be so strong and able! and, honey, it is fun!
