Thanksgiving weekend...

My kids get ansy when I am in the kitchen for a long time and of course
that was the case this Thanksgiving. I decided to do entertaining 'game' stations to
keep their attention for awhile. It was a hit!

We had a ton of appetizers that were
delicious-

Our girls were in heaven with their grandpa, look how cute Savvy's smile is!

Some of the stations included these games:

Of course I had to take a break and kick Logan's butt in rock em and sock em...

Football was on all day of course...

Table was set...

Snacks were devoured...

Cute Grandpa and McKay enjoyed some football and chat time...

Sweet Grandma and the little girls enjoyed some play time...

Father and son wore the same shirt they have both had for years...

Feast was presented...

Chefs were thrilled to be done cooking a meal that takes weeks to plan for and minutes to eat...

McKay would kill me for posting this picture but ya know, I couldn't resist..

There is nothing like being together with family and eating
delicious food...

The day after Thanksgiving we immediately put up our Christmas decorations and
made ginger bread houses with the kids...

Hailey just loved eating the frosting and sweet Aunt Laura took the girls on a walk in the 20 degree weather.

We then went bowling and Hailey was completely done...

Nice McKay...

The last night we went to an amazing restaurant and Grandpa Joel had to end the
Thanksgiving feast with a serious leg of turkey... Mmmm it must have been good!

It was a truly special and superb weekend.
We love our family and are so happy they could come and visit!
Now here comes Christmas!

Can I say yummy and oh so fun? Love the game stations! The matching shirts were awesome. Nathan and I still have matching sweaters from when we were dating. Maybe we should wear them some time.
