Sometimes I wonder why I do the things I do.
Savvy begged for a birthday party this year and since I haven't really thrown a big one for her, I decided too!
She is a gymnast and of course you can't invite a couple people from the team, you have to invite them all!
She invited 15 gymnasts, 5 school friends and 4 neighbor friends because they
aren't all going to say yes, right?
wrong.
They all said yes.
So the theme was a cooking party.
Seriously, 24 girls cooking.
Again, what was I thinking?
I was desperately trying to find some cheap way of making it a great night, so we made pizzas and decorated mini cakes.
BUT the coolest part was me calling Barnes and Noble, telling them what I was doing and what I needed and them saying...
let me check.
I got a phone call back saying they found some discounted kitchen kits that were normally $14.99 and I could get them for $2.00 a piece.
WOW
WOW and WOW.
This is what they were...
Complete with a cookbook, apron, measuring spoons, wooden roller pin, spoon and chef's cap.
It was an awesome deal. So lesson learned, do your research because there are awesome deals out there!
