What a weekend we had!!
Of course, football...
and
Jason and Hailey went on a daddy daughter date to Hailey's preschool,
she had to get all dolled up for her daddy.
It was so precious!!

They carved pumpkins at the party...
Of course, Hailey had to name her pumpkin, 'Pumpkin with eyes'.,
They had a great time together, it's so sweet to see my girls so in love with their daddy!

We also had some notty moments...
Hailey and Savvy took permanent marker and decided to decorate their faces.

Hailey also decided getting peanut butter out with her hands was much more fun than using a spoon...

We wanted to carve our pumpkins a week early so we could enjoy them!

McKay FINALLY decided he would participate when he found out there was
 prizes to be awarded afterwards...

The finished masterpieces...

Jason and I went to a UCCS business competition dinner.
Entrepreneurs from all over the country entered
a contest in hopes of winning the top prize, which is a lot of money to
further their business idea.
It was amazing!
Amazing people, amazing ideas and Rulon Gardner was the keynote speaker.
His story is also amazing...

Sunday we went on a picnic by a duck pond.
It was so wonderful and such a beautiful day!

And now, my dishwasher broke, my kids are getting sick, I have tons of homework and tomorrow is MONDAY.
Why do weekends have to go so fast???

Cute kids at swim lessons...

I realize I haven't been capturing my kids and all of the sports they participate in,
just the competitions.
I keep thinking I have to have my nice camera with me in order to take pictures
but I don't...

I have a camera on my phone and
by golly,
that can capture anything, even if it isn't the best quality!

These are from swimming lessons.
I know they aren't really of swimming but I couldn't resist capturing
their faces with the pool in the background.

I was hysterical with this picture. I told Hailey to smile and smile she did!
I see modeling in her future...
Cute Savvy, I love the close up of her big blue eyes!
And melt my heart boy,
I love Logan's smile!

Weekend Sports...

My behind was numb for hours this weekend.
We sat at football games watching our 3 boys for
hours.
Yes, seven.

Even though it was a long day, it was so much fun to watch
them play.
Great job boys!

Logan, #50

McKay #6

Halloween Countdown...

Whoever thought of the paper countdown is seriously a genius.
Our little munchkin Savvy loves the holidays.
She has asked about 4 million times in the last week when Halloween will be so
we had to make a countdown to show her.

She never skips a day and the asking has dissappeared.
Hang in there Savvy,
Halloween
is
so
close!

Just chillin....

Sunday we chilled, relaxed, talked, layed around and chilled some more.
It's funny, when I lay down to read or take a nap,
within minutes there is a kid right next to me or by me or on top of me.
I
Love
IT!
I would much rather have my kids close to me than read or catch some zzz's!
Reading and sleeping will always be around, but my sweet kids won't-
so of course we had to get some fun pix.
Amazingly
I got McKay to join in for a few!
I adore and love these kids
SO
MUCH...

It's here, just a little too soon...

I'm not sure I am ready for the cold.
Today as the snow fell...
games were cancelled
pancakes were made
fireplace was on
giggles were heard from two little girls who woke up,
looked at the snow and said, "It's Christmas!!!!"
and
the sweet feeling of happiness and peace as we all stayed indoors and
enjoyed the moment.

Ok Winter wonderland...
BRING
IT
ON
I want more days like today!

The weekend...

Lovely weekend which included:
 McKay's first Homecoming Dance.
He went with a big group of friends and told me I get to take one, only one picture so here it is...
he is one handsome kid!
And McKay, you WILL thank me one day for being
an annoying picture-taker-of-everything mom.
I am only trying to document your life!
And of course, the weekend included lots of football games and football watching and football eating!

Lots of crafts- Savvy's new thing is to make a picture, have me cut it into puzzle pieces for her
to put back together... so cute!

I love weekends!!
