Temple Square= a beautiful, remarkable place...
just not on a Monday night (family night)
with 4,345,890,348 other people.
It was fun to be with the family for the 10 minutes we spent saying, "look at those pretty lights, hey where is Logan, wait-where is Dallin, hey, have you seen Ashley?"
We love you Temple Square but next time we will adorn you at Christmas time through pictures (or summertime when we don't have to share you with 4,678,908,145 other people!)

Oh my, I know what you are talking about. I have been there during Christmas time. Temple Square is the best place on earth and also crazy at the same time. I'm glad you were able to find all your kiddos. Great picture!!
Yeah. That was not so fun. Always good to spend time with you though
I love the shot with all the kids lined up...and oodles of people in the background.
We were there, too, and I was amazed at how absurdly busy and stressful it was. The kids still enjoyed it, and didn't pick up on the busy-ness. I'm glad for that. But, next time...we'll just go when it's NOT christmas. :)
Our kids had their first temple square visit in early December (night time with lots of people and Christmas lights) and I asked Mitchell what he thought. His response, "It was more commercial than I thought it would be. I mean, anybody could be there." I guess he equates crowds with commercial, and the homeless beggars outside the gates surprised him.
