So my kids survived their first week of school, they all like their teachers except Carson. This is how Carson's first two days went.
Teacher:
"Carson don't walk with your hands in your pockets, that's a warning."
"Carson, don't draw a line on your paper, that's a warning."
"Carson, don't sit on your knees, that's a warning."
"Carson, don't twirl your pencil, that's a warning."
"Carson don't run at recess, that's a warning."
Are you serious teacher?
Can't kids be kids these days?
I'm proud of Carson though, he just rolls his eyes and knows he can come home and run his heart out, twirl pencils however he wants, draw lines up and down and all around and can even sit on his head for all I care.
Thank goodness for home.

I'm not in the habit of changing teachers, and infact have only done that once since my children started school. Sounds like this might be the one for you. It's important for him to have a good experience or he will hate it! It's okay to make a change once in a while! (Just for what it's worth)

Hmmm, doesn't sound good for Carson!! I agree with all of the above.
I couldn't believe what his teacher was saying. What's wrong with having your hands in your pockets and good grief I used to doodle all over my papers! I think Gina might be right about a change. My advise would be to schedule a meeting right away with the teacher and see what her problem is and if you see that she is definitely unflexible CHANGE him to a new teacher. He doesn't need this kind of grief.
I tried thisa couple of days ago, but i don't see my comments anywhwere so here I go again! Carson's teacher sounds like Olana of the Princess Academy...what a scourge she was! His refuge is his home and that can't be bad, can it? Let her drive him to his Mom...good place to be! gg-faye
