Hailey is mad at Snow White and a weekend update-

As you know with 6 kids we spend most of our day in the car- well little Hailey
has become quite creative entertaining herself.
I recorded a conversation she had with 'Snow White' the other day-
it is so cute I had to share it-

And a weekend update-
*games, games and more games
*Carson's football coach put him
in as nose guard and he had an awesome tackle-I think he
has found his position!
*I have one paper left to write for my History class and I get a three week break-
*We went out with some fabulous friends
*I went to a wonderful breakfast for the CASA organization
and would love to volunteer for it somehow.
CASA means court appointed special advocate for children transitioning from
violent homes to foster homes to permanent homes. Amazing organization.
* Took pictures for another Boy Scout dinner
* Of course had a delicious Sunday dinner and spent the day loving on each of our kids,
watching documentary's and discussing them.

May is the busiest month of the year for us, so stay tuned for all the updates on our kids and fam!
Hope you are having a great week!

"You make me angry mom"...

Savvannah doesn't like me today-

I got after her for being mean to her little sister and
she really doesn't like getting in trouble so she drew me this picture-
"Mom, this is a picture of me sticking
my tongue out to you cuz you are mean and you make me angry!"

I must admit it made me smile!

Funny Savvy...

Sunday we were driving home from church and Logan wanted to sing a primary song.
As we were sweetly singing we hear this blood curdling scream from Savannah saying,
"Stop duys, I'n on the phone!"
(translation: Stop guys, I'm on the phone!)
we stop and she proceeds to carry on a conversation into her pretend cell phone.

She must have heard her parents say
that more than one time!
Funny girl...

100 day celebration...

Kindergarten has a '100 day' celebration and Jason has gone to each of the kids parties to celebrate with them. Logan just had his and had a blast with his dad.
They got to put down what they would want a hundred things of..
Logan said, "I would want a hundred cars and a hundred dollars but not a hundred babies because then I would have a hundred poopy diapers to change!"
Needless to say, his teacher got a good laugh.

You look like a walrus...

Sidewalk chalk is one of our favorite things to play with.
Little Savannah loves to trace people with sidewalk chalk and chalked up her first portrait of her mother...
As I was giving her praise for a job well done,
Carson came out and said, "mom you look like a walrus."
Gee-thanks!

My deprived child..

Carson has had the flu this whole weekend so we let him watch a movie yesterday to get his mind off of throwing up. So in comes Logan and says, "Carson will you pleeeease breath on me so I can get sick and watch a movie too?" We let him watch movies, but apparently not enough! Cute kid!

Lunch laughs...

Tuesday I decided to surprise Logan at school and play with him at recess and eat lunch with him. I walked into his classroom and it was all quiet until Logan yells, "What, hey, hey guys, its MOMMMMMM! Hey Mrs. Leuberrs, it's my mom, oh my mommy, hey Brindon, look who it is, my MOM!" And there he was, clinging to my side and holding my hand never to depart. He showed me all the girls he likes, I mean the girls he plays with, cuz mom, "I don't like girls!" It was so much fun and I felt so loved.

Then onto my middle school child. It was parents day at his school Friday, so I again decided to eat lunch, this time with McKay and this time getting approval because he is entering the "parents are so yesterday" stage. He said he didn't mind if I came, so off to his school I went. When I arrived and went into his class, he said, "Oh, you came mom." Ummmm, yes my dear! So lunch bell rings and off we go to lunch, my sweet McKay and I, wait, where is McKay? Running to the lunch room and leaving his mama wayyyy behind. "I'll save you a seat!" He says. So we sit and enjoy a lunch about a nano second long before he says, "So, are you going to stay or can I go play with my friends?" You may go my pre teen, mom loves you and off he goes and off I go, until I hear, "Hey mom, thanks for coming," complete with a 'half' hug from my sweet McKay. It too was so much fun especially to see him in the middle school setting and know that he still loves his mama (just a little more quietly)!

Oh, how time flies and children grow! Always remember, "Childhood is a short season." and "Childhood is the most beautiful of all life's seasons." (author unknown)

My oh so cute Logan..

This morning we were reading scriptures as a family and I mentioned to Jason I wouldn't be going to church again until Hailey is off oxygen. Logan looked at me rather irritated and said, "So do you think Heavenly Father is ok with that?" I have been thinking of that comment all day and how it should affect our choices. So go take on the day and when your choice is questionable, think, "Is Heavenly Father ok with that?" Love you Logs....
